Heroes of The University of New Orleans

UNO was fortunate to have incredible people to populate the halls as faculty and staff from day one of it’s existence. Fortunately this trend of excellence continues through to today. UNO has had its fair share of heroes that have helped get it opened, provided for its growth, lead it through tough times while never losing sight of the necessity for continued excellence in education. 

This presentation was constructed by Robert L. Dupont in correlation with the recent publication of his book on the 50th Anniversary of UNO, On Higher Ground: The University of New Orleans at 50.  It highlights some of the key players that have emerged as UNO Heroes.
